The DAV Kletter- und Boulderzentrum München-Süd in Thalkirchen, like the DAV Kletter- und Boulderzentrum München-Nord in Freimann, is operated by our non-profit sponsoring association „DAV Kletter- und Boulderzentren München e.V.“ The sponsoring association is an association of currently 20 Alpine club sections from the Munich area.

Best way to get here – bike and/or public transport

The easiest and, above all, most environmentally friendly way to get here is, of course, either by public transport or by bike! Munich’s cycling traffic is on the move. Our state capital Munich wants to improve the situation for cyclists in the city with new cycle paths, lanes and other projects.

So why spend a long time looking for a parking space that is only available in very small numbers anyway? Why stand in traffic jams? Why waste a lot of time? Why warm up for a long time before climbing? You can have it all! How? Grab your bike! For your sake and the environment’s. Thank you very much!

Bike route planner

Do you already know the MVV’s bike route planner? Here you can plan your journey to us either only by bike or, for longer distances, in combination with the MVV.

Using the MVV bike route planner is very simple: define the start and end points, have the route calculated and cycle off with the detailed route description, the map display or the GPS download. The MVV bike route planner calculates either pure bike tours, combined bike&ride routes or bike transport tours, in which the bike is carried on public transport for sections of the route.
